Knäckebrot

German crispy bread. Like crackers.

Ingredients:

4½ cups whole wheat flour

1½ cups water

1 cup sesame seeds

¼ cup oil

1 teaspoon salt

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients into a solid dough.

  2. Let rest about 15 minutes.

  3. Divide the dough into smaller sections so you can roll it out more easily.

  4. Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough as thinly as possible.

  5. Place on baking grid and bake 5-10 minutes at 200°C

  6. Let cool and enjoy with some fresh homemade humus.
